Even though the HDJ Wittlich has changed and developed conceptually, structurally and in terms of staff over the decades, one constant will remain in the future: The HDJ is an all-day youth leisure centre that welcomes children, teenagers and young adults aged 6 to 27. A meeting place to socialise, spend time together and, of course, to take part in the numerous offers, events and programmes of the HDJ.<\/p>\n<p>A lot has happened at the HDJ in 2016: among other things, the centre has a new director in Johannes Schmidt, a qualified educationalist. We are very pleased about this, as Johannes also marks the start of our collaboration with new media labs...<\/p>\n<h4>Young design for young people<\/h4>\n<p>Our collaboration began with the creation of a new and modern HDJ logo and the revision of the entire CI. The aim was to shake off the somewhat dusty look of the leisure centre and present the HDJ in a fresh and contemporary way. The next step was the graphic design and development of the new website. Information about the programme, projects and the HDJ team can be easily accessed here.<\/p>\n<p>The HDJ is the venue for numerous events, which is why we have also integrated a clearly organised calendar of events into the website. Thanks to WordPress, the calendar can be maintained by HDJ staff without any knowledge of HTML.<\/p>\n<p>The HDJ Repair Caf\u00e9 takes place on the first Friday of every month.
